New Technician switching from FieldAccess to FieldProject

Occasionally when a new Techician who role is setup as FieldProject or Service Project Tech and is logged into FieldAccess and then tries to switch to FieldProject application, the site crashes with the below error.  This error can be found in FieldAccess Debug log file.

at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously)

INNER EX: [The value '' of the MaximumValue property of 'rvShift' cannot be converted to type 'Integer'.]   at System.Web.UI.WebControls.RangeValidator.ValidateValues()

   at System.Web.UI.WebControls.RangeValidator.ControlPropertiesValid()

The resolution to fix this error so that the tech can switch back and forth between FieldAccess and FieldProject, the following steps need to be taken.

Log into Vista UI and then Click Payroll | Programs | PR Employees.

Enter the Employee ID for that tech and scroll down to where “JCCo” field is.

Update this field with a value of '1' save the update.

Technician should now be able to switch from FieldAces into FieldProject 

Hint: You can check what the “JCCo” value is by checking other ProjectTech users. In most cases when you setup the new user in Vista, you leave the JCCo field blank.
